Students’ Attitudes about Criminal Justice Employment

Description of Study: This study is being conducted at the University of South Florida and is sponsored by Arnold Ventures. The purpose of the study is to evaluate students’ perceptions about employment in the criminal justice system, and the impact of educating students about existing careers. To participate in this study, you need to complete an online survey with questions about your demographic characteristics, career interest, perceptions about criminal justice and past interactions with the criminal justice system.
Participation Needed: Participation in this study involves completing a one-time online survey, which is expected to take approximately 60 minutes. Participation is entirely voluntary. There are no penalties or loss of benefits or opportunities for choosing not to participate or for discontinuing participation at any time. There is no cost to participate, and participants will not receive compensation. To be eligible, participants must be 18 years or older and must be a student currently enrolled at a Florida institution of higher education. Students from all majors and from any Florida college or university are eligible to participate.
