  • Provide membership services, including: mailing of journals, newsletters. (This requires us to share your mailing information with other entities, such as our publisher, for the specific use of mailing said publications.); emails pertaining to ASC itself, your membership, the Annual Meeting, etc., if you agree in your email settings; membership directory – you have the option of choosing what information appears or if your name should appear at all.
  • Process any orders and manage your account, including membership payments, Annual Meeting registrations, donations, Employment Exchange job posts.
  • If you agree in your membership settings, ASC occasionally provides your mailing address to interested external entities, usually publishers.
  • We may share your contact information with the Executive Board of ASC upon request.
  • We share your contact information with any of ASC’s Divisions that you may be a part of for their specific use as it pertains to your membership

ASC would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request ASC for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service. It is also accessible by logging in to your account on the ASC website.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that ASC correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request ASC to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
